Merit Plastic Mouldings is partnering with Michelle Denny Recruitment to recruit a Production Team Leader for their established site in Diss.
This is a hands-on team leader role within a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. You’ll lead from the floor, keep production moving, support your team, and play a visible part in day-to-day operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support production staff across shifts
- Ensure output, quality and safety standards are met
- Respond quickly to production issues and bottlenecks
- Drive team performance and accountability
- Maintain strong housekeeping and H&S standards
- Liaise with Quality, Logistics and other departments
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Previous plastics manufacturing experience is essential
- Injection moulding or similar highly relevant
- Previous Team Leader / Supervisor experience preferred
- Strong communicator with practical leadership style
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
