Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with a leading regional accountancy practice to recruit an experienced Accounting Practice Manager for its Diss office.
This is a senior role within the Business team, combining responsibility for a portfolio of clients with the management and development of people.
- Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong, long-term relationships
- Overseeing the delivery and quality of work across the portfolio
- Managing, coaching and developing members of the team
- Carrying out 1-2-1s, performance reviews and development conversations
- Mentoring Seniors and Assistant Managers
- Helping to manage workloads and resources across the team
- Identifying training needs and supporting internal development
- Working closely with Partners and senior management
- Building relationships with professional contacts and referrers
- Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other services across the practice
- Contributing to proposals, networking and wider business development
You'll be ACA, ACCA or equivalently qualified, with significant post-qualified experience gained within an accountancy practice.
- Strong people management and team development experience
- Experience of coaching or mentoring colleagues
- The confidence to contribute at management level while remaining hands-on with clients and the team
£50,000 - £60,000, together with an excellent benefits package and annualised hours.
