The role
Michelle Denny Recruitment is supporting Hobbs Estates in the search for a Commercial Property Manager to join its commercial property team.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll become the day-to-day link between tenants, agents, contractors and professional advisers, helping to manage a diverse commercial property portfolio centred around Earls Colne Business Park.
This is an autonomous, varied, hands-on role covering tenant liaison, commercial lettings, lease renewals, maintenance coordination and the day-to-day management of the estate.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with tenants, agents, contractors and professional advisers.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and property inspections.
- Support commercial lettings, lease renewals and Heads of Terms.
- Work alongside the accounts team on service charges, invoicing queries and arrears.
- Maintain accurate property and lease records using Yardi Voyager.
- Support the Directors with compliance and the ongoing management of the commercial property portfolio.
About you
You'll already have experience within commercial property management, commercial agency, facilities management, block management or another landlord and tenant-facing role.
You'll also bring
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative ability.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
- Confidence managing a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- What's on offer
- £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
- Flexible part-time - full time may be considered.
- 24 days' holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).
- Discretionary performance bonus.
- Primarily office-based
