Excellent opportunity for a talented Sous Chef looking to progress their career. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Chef Patron with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef Patron
- Ensuring consistent food quality, presentation and service throughout every sitting
- Assisting with menu and recipe development
- Supporting with food costing and stock management
- Training, mentoring and developing junior members of the kitchen team
- Ensuring the kitchen maintains the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and organisation
- Helping to drive standards and contribute to the restaurant's ambition for Michelin recognition
We are looking for a Sous Chef with:
- Proven Sous Chef experience within a similar busy restaurant environment
- Experience at 3 AA Rosette or Michelin level would be highly desirable
- A genuine passion for quality food and exceptional standards
- Strong organisational and communication skills
