As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will work as part of a small & collaborative team to deliver the full end-to-end payroll cycle. You’ll take responsibility for accurate data handling, timely completion of payroll processes, and supporting a positive employee experience. You'll play a vital role in administering employee benefits programs, handling new hire enrolments, terminations, transfers, and changes, all while maintaining the utmost confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the full end-to-end payroll process accurately and on time.
  • Produce accurate and timely payroll payments using the payroll management system.
  • Process employee leave to ensure precise accountability of payroll exceptions.
  • Professionally resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries.
  • Identify and alert management of noncompliance or data quality issues.
  • Organise and archive payroll documentation in line with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, managing enrolments, terminations, transfers, and changes.
  • Support with confidential administration tasks related to payroll and benefits.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience managing the entire end-to-end payroll cycle — this is essential.
  • Confident understanding of payroll legislation, statutory payments and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a small team, contributing flexibly and supporting colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • High levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
Working Arrangement:

This is a hybrid role. Working-from-home days are usually agreed within the team, and due to the collaborative nature of the work, the payroll team typically spends on-site days together. The successful candidate will be expected to spend more time working on-site than from home. There is also the option to work on-site five days a week should the successful candidate prefer a fully office-based arrangement.
