This is a field-based B2B sales role within our truck business. You’ll manage and grow customer relationships across your territory, spending most of your week visiting transport operators, fleets and dealers. Alongside commercial conversations, you’ll get hands-on by inspecting trucks and tyres, gathering fleet information and using your findings to recommend the right solutions.

At Michelin, you’ll have the freedom to manage your territory with the support of an experienced team and manager. We’ll provide comprehensive training in our truck products, technical inspections and sales approach, so you can build on the skills you already have and continue developing your career.

Essential training and travel requirement: As part of your induction, you must be able to spend two consecutive weeks away from home attending training in France. Further travel to our training centre in Stoke will also be required. This is an essential requirement of the role, so please consider whether you can commit to this before applying.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll bring sales, business development or account management experience, ideally from a field-based role.
  • Truck or tyre experience isn’t essential; what matters is your ability to build strong customer relationships, work independently and learn the technical side of the role.
  • The role combines B2B sales with practical work, including inspecting trucks and tyres outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • You’ll need to be organised, comfortable getting hands-on and able to use customer and inspection data to identify commercial opportunities.

What’s the work environment like? You’ll spend most of your time travelling across the territory and visiting customers, with regular support from your team and manager. You’ll receive additional guidance during your first few months, plus the training and equipment needed to complete site inspections safely and confidently.

What you’ll need:

  • Sales, business development or account management experience.
  • Strong communication, organisation and customer relationship skills.
  • Confidence managing a field-based territory and carrying out outdoor truck and tyre inspections.
  • A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to complete the required training in France and Stoke.
  • Ideally, live within easy reach of Bromsgrove, Redditch or Halesowen.

Comprehensive benefits package:

  • Journey to Sales training programme.
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme with generous employer contributions.
  • Health cash plan that helps you save on essential healthcare expenses such as dental and optical services.
  • 25 days holiday a year, in addition to bank holidays, with the number of holiday days increasing after two years of service.
  • Flexibility to buy or sell additional holiday days.
  • FREE premium tyres for your vehicle.
  • Salary Sacrifice EV Car Scheme.
  • Option to purchase Michelin Shares, become a company shareholder.
  • Enhanced maternity/paternity leave to support you during important family moments.
  • FREE digital GP, mental health counselling, nutritional consultations, and second medical opinion, plus an annual health check.
  • Employee Assistance Programme provides free, confidential advice and counselling.
  • In-house training centre providing various training programs and courses to help you enhance your skills and achieve your career goals.
