THE ROLE IN SHORT:
This role will be accountable for the vision, strategy, experience, and results for our fleet management solution(s) globally. This will include:
- Deeply understanding our customers’ needs, market dynamics, and business context.
- Championing a compelling & competitive product vision and roadmap.
- Owning business results for your specific solution(s) globally.
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team with 1x Product Owner and 1x Squad.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING:
DISCOVERY:
- Identify valuable insights & opportunities by deeply understanding our customers, markets, and business context.
- Understand the fleet management market structure and dynamics across regions.
- Continuously develop our understanding of our customers’ operation, needs, pains, and gains.
- Establish productive relationships with customers and Sales / Expansion leadership.
- Understand and monitor competitor developments.
STRATEGY:
- Champion business outcomes and align teams on key activities.
- Define & own our overall results for our solutions.
- Define & own a clear vision for new & existing solutions.
- Assess and prioritise development ideas into a structured product roadmap.
EXECUTION:
- Deliver on the defined priorities & activities needed to achieve business outcomes.
- Lead team members to design best-in-class customer solutions.
- Ensure that the solution design and user experience are consistent with the vision.
- Monitor performance and progress against plan & outcomes.
GROWTH:
- Lead and develop people & teams to do their best work.
- Motivate and inspire a PO and squad around the shared vision.
- Define & contribute to Product team standards and governance.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE:
- A university degree with a track record of continuous professional growth.
- 4+ years direct involvement with information technology / SaaS applications.
- Demonstrated experience delivering results in a changing environment.
- Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, present and negotiate effectively.
- High quality standards for work output with excellent attention to detail.
