As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will:

  • Design, support, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure—primarily within Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate closely with Security, Operations, and cross‑functional technical teams.
  • Manage core cloud services, support migrations from on‑prem to cloud environments, maintain Windows server infrastructure, and implement best practices around resilience, security, and performance.
  • Manage Intune/endpoint environments, support automation through scripting, and act as Level 3 support for the AWS-based phone system.
  • Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation.
  • Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure including VMs, networks, and storage.
  • Support cloud migrations and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Support on‑premises Windows Server environments.
  • Monitor cloud resources (e.g., Azure Monitor) to optimise performance and control cost.
  • Implement high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup policies.
  • Manage endpoints with Microsoft Intune.
  • Automate new device setup using Windows Autopilot and manage mobile devices.
  • Create and enforce compliance policies and configuration profiles for endpoints.
  • Package and distribute software to end‑users across various platforms.

Background in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role is required, along with:

  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN).
  • Hands‑on AWS cloud experience (particularly SCV).
  • Understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
