At Micheldever Group, we are undergoing a major Digital Transformation (DX) programme, introducing cutting-edge systems such as Microsoft D365 and Slimstock. As we prepare for rollout from Q3 2026, we are looking for a Product Data & Supply Chain Support professional to join our team on a fixed-term basis.
About the Role & About you
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting product creation and data accuracy across both legacy and new systems during the transformation phase. You will work alongside Buyers and Purchasing Support staff who will provide guidance throughout the role. You’ll gain valuable exposure to enterprise platforms and a large-scale transformation project while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site (typically Tuesday and Wednesday), remaining days remote
Contract Duration: 6 months (possible extension depending on project phase completion and system go-live timing; no guarantees. Role may not exist post-go-live, but other opportunities could arise for high-performing candidates.)
Your Responsibilities:
- Create and manage products across both old and new systems during a system and process change period
- Create products in systems, typically from supplier-provided templates
- Chase suppliers for product information when needed
- Load products into the system and verify correct setup
- Support purchasing teams managing dual-system operations
- Assist Buyers with data and operational tasks during system transition
- Help identify system bugs and support testing fixes
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams (Retail, Wholesale, Pricing, Finance)
- Maintain accurate product data in product management tools
- Provide support across supply chain processes such as forecasting and stock profiling

Team Structure
Will work with purchasing teams and Buyers. Reporting structure: Reports to the Head of Purchasing Manager. Team composition and detailed reporting lines to be shared with candidates.
