The E-Commerce Executive is a pivotal operational role responsible for supporting the E-Commerce Manager in executing the end-to-end e-commerce strategy across Protyre.co.uk, TyreClick, and all digital sales channels. This role drives online sales, digital-to-store conversion, and omnichannel customer experience by managing day-to-day platform operations, content updates, and performance reporting. The job holder works closely with the Protyre Retail Director, Pricing Team, Digital Marketing, and Website Designer to ensure seamless integration of pricing, promotions, stock, and UX.

With a proactive and detail-oriented approach, the role supports innovation, tests new features, and optimizes conversion funnels to deliver measurable revenue growth. The job holder is accountable for executing delegated e-commerce tasks from the E-Commerce Manager’s roadmap, including platform updates, campaign deployment, performance tracking, and customer journey optimization. They maintain real-time product data accuracy, support A/B testing and UX improvements, and ensure full compliance with GDPR, PCI DSS, and accessibility standards. The role contributes to monthly reporting and continuous platform enhancement, supporting the Group’s omnichannel revenue targets.

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented E-Commerce Executive to support the day-to-day management and optimization of our digital platforms, including Protyre.co.uk and TyreClick. In this hands-on role, you’ll execute website updates, support e-commerce campaigns, improve UX, and collaborate across marketing, retail, and operational teams to drive both online sales and digital-to-store performance. You’ll play a key part in delivering a seamless, high-performing customer journey across our multi-brand, omnichannel environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute Platform Updates & Content
    • Implement product listings, price changes, banner updates, and promotional content.
    • Work closely with the Pricing Team and Website Designer to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Deploy E-Commerce Campaigns
    • Support flash sales, bundle promotions, seasonal offers, and tactical campaigns.
    • Build landing pages, schedule emails, and activate geo-targeted promotions to drive online and store traffic.
  • Monitor Performance & Report
    • Track daily/weekly KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and abandonment using Google Analytics, Hotjar, and platform dashboards.
    • Deliver clear reports with insights and practical optimisation recommendations.
  • Support Omnichannel Integration
    • Partner with the Protyre Retail Director to maintain accurate stock visibility, click & collect availability, and store locator accuracy.
    • Troubleshoot sync issues across systems to improve digital-to-store conversion.
  • Assist UX & A/B Testing
    • Execute A/B tests focused on checkout flow, CTAs, and page design.
    • Use heatmaps, user behaviour data, and session recordings to identify friction and support UX improvements.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
    • Work closely with SEO, PPC, Social, Campaign, Retail Operations, and Web Design teams.
    • Participate in weekly cross-functional syncs and sprint planning to ensure alignment on priorities and campaign execution.
  • Ensure Compliance & Accessibility
    • Ensure all online content and processes remain compliant with GDPR, PCI DSS, and WCAG 2.1 standards.
    • Validate secure checkout journeys, privacy pages, and accessibility requirements.
  • Contribute to Innovation
    • Support pilot projects such as new mobile app features, live chat capability, E-commerce enhancements, or AR tools.
    • Help gather requirements, test releases, and contribute to impact assessment.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement
    • Flag platform bugs, customer pain points, and process inefficiencies.
    • Suggest practical enhancements to improve speed, usability, and conversion.

What We’re Looking For From You:

  • Experience working in an e-commerce, digital trading, or online merchandising role.
  • Strong understanding of website CMS platforms, e-commerce systems, and digital tools.
  • Comfortable working with Google Analytics, dashboards, and performance data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at pace.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of SEO, UX best practice, or A/B testing tools is a bonus.

Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees - company wide. To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
