Micheldever Group is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join our Logistics Operations team, reporting to the Head of Logistics Operations and working in close partnership with the Head of SHEQ.

You'll take ownership of Health & Safety across our UK-wide logistics and warehouse network, working directly with Regional Managers, Site Managers, and frontline teams to shape the framework, lead investigations, deliver training, and build a strong, proactive safety culture.

  • Building and maintaining our Logistics H&S framework, policies, and Safe Systems of Work
  • Leading incident and near-miss investigations (including RIDDOR), conducting root cause analysis and reporting findings to senior leadership
  • Running site assessments, audits, inspections, and ensuring improvements are embedded, not just recommended
  • Designing and delivering annual training plans, including Toolbox Talks informed by trend analysis and legislative changes
  • Acting as the specialist H&S advisor to the Logistics team, from senior leaders to warehouse operatives

Significant experience in H&S management within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain is required, along with:

  • Strong knowledge of LOLER, COSHH, PUWER, and the wider H&S legal framework
  • A track record of building control frameworks, management systems, and training programmes
  • Experience working with the HSE, local authorities, and Primary Authority relationships
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualification

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants to shape safety culture across a national operation, not simply audit it.
