Protyre Autocare is looking for a customer focused Customer Expert to be the front-of-house specialist who delivers an exceptional, frictionless customer experience and acts as the trusted advisor for every customer who visits a Protyre Autocentre. This role combines deep product expertise (training provided) with ethical selling principles to help customers get exactly what they need – and nothing they don’t. You will own the end-to-end in-centre customer journey, drive conversion and retention, and champion a shift from transactional servicing to genuine lifetime-value partnership.
Success in this role will come from a passion for delivering great customer experience and journey.
- Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:30, Saturday 8:30 to 4pm
- Must have: Proven experience in customer-facing sales, advisory, or service role (retail, automotive, hospitality, or professional services)

About the role:
- Ownership of the Customer Experience & Journey from arrival through to departure and future booking, delivering outstanding, consistent and memorable service that builds advocacy and customer satisfaction
- Ethical Selling, Product Expertise & Commercial Performance – an in-centre product expert for tyres, MOT, servicing, brakes, suspension and related services
- Retention, Advocacy & Lifetime Value - building genuine, trust-based relationships
- Team Collaboration, Coaching & Standards: Maintain an impeccable front-of-house presentation, merchandising and brand standard
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements, operational procedures, data protection and company policies, maintaining accurate records and contributing to centre performance reporting and a safe, clean environment for customers and colleagues
About you:
- Proven experience in customer-facing sales, advisory, or service role (retail, automotive, hospitality, or professional services)
- Excellent track record of building rapport, handling objections, and closing sales ethically
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and honestly
- Experience with CRM systems, booking platforms, or digital customer tools
- Previous involvement in customer retention, loyalty, or proactive outreach programmes
