Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.
Must have:
- Full current UK Driving Licence is required for this role, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
- Level 3 Automotive Qualification.

About the role:
- Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments.
- Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
- Carrying out MOT repairs.
- Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
- Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to the highest quality.
- Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs.
- Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
About you:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry.
- Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
- The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
