Overview
Protyre Autocare is a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. We are currently seeking a Truck Tyre Technician to join our growing team.
Our Truck Tyre Technicians are responsible for competent tyre fitting and repairs, ensuring work is completed on commercial vehicles safely and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.
- Location: Based in Dumfries, callouts as required
- Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and aged at least 21 years old for insurance purposes

About the role
- Complete tyre fitting and repairs on commercial vehicles.
- Work in a safe manner and comply with health & safety regulations.
- Do not work on any product or service you have not been assessed as competent in or trained to conduct.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures.
- Make customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customer’s vehicle.
About you
- Previous experience as a commercial or agricultural tyre fitter / mechanic.
- Experience in a professional workshop environment.
- Work in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Willingness to constantly learn and improve your knowledge.
- Ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
- Full valid Driving Licence.
