Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Category Management and Pricing, you will provide administrative, analytic, reporting and general support to the Digital Database & Product (DDP) Manager and Category Managers (CMs).
This role has specific responsibility for management of the company’s B2B House Brand accidental damage warranty program and for assisting with maintaining the company’s Product Information Management (PIM) system, as well as other activities.
Based: Either in Southam or Micheldever Station Near Winchester
Key Responsibilities
- Category Management (est. 25%)
- Management of the B2B House Brand accidental damage warranty programs; processing and monitoring claims against KPI’s and raising credits.
Issue timely reports to the relevant stakeholders.
Notify sales agents and CMs of exceptions and trends.
- Maintain and update B2B division Premium and House Brand dealer price lists.
- Build, maintain and publish regular and ad-hoc product reporting as required by the CMs or Senior Management, including but not limited to bespoke incentive trackers and monthly brand performance scorecards.
- Product and Database Management (est. 75%)
- Maintain the company’s PIM system with regular comprehensive product details, to ensure content alignment with other systems such as Microsoft D365, Bynder, Product Middleware.
- Support the DDP manager to ensure timely refreshes to the PIM system in line with agreed business frequencies.
- Work with the DDP manager to continually improve the PIM system, ensuring maximum integration with other platforms within the business and ensuring the best possible summary of our product catalogue.
- Liaise with manufacturers to add and enhance product-related content including technical product descriptions and other data fields, ensuring product descriptions by sales channel are as accurate and detailed as possible and therefore allowing the best representation of products on both Protyre website and B2B sales portal.
- Develop and conduct bespoke product analysis as requested, related to brand and pattern range coverage, sales trends, etc.
About You
- Educated to at least A- Level standard or equivalent.
- Strong product knowledge orientation, preferably with tyres or automotive aftermarket products.
- Experienced user of MS Office Products, Power BI, Power Automate, Word and Power Point.
- Experienced in using MS Excel V & X LOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, updating and building report templates.
- Flexible approach to working hours during peak times.
- Pro‑active, self‑starter, proven ability to work independently.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.
- Strong team player.
- Confident and able to communicate at all levels including senior management.
