Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Complete fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments.
- Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
- Carry out MOT repairs.
- Adhere to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
- Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality.
- Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offer timelines for future vehicle repair needs.
- Work in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Full current UK Driving Licence (held for at least 6 months, age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry.
- Experience with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
