Protyre Autocare is a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. We are currently seeking a Tyre Technician to join our growing team.

About the role

  • Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
  • Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
  • Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
  • Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customer's vehicle.
  • Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other marks resulting from the job you have carried out.
  • To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures.

About you

  • Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship.
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
  • The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance.
  • Friendly and approachable manner.

Requirements

  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
  • Qualification in an Automotive field.
  • Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship.
