Micheldever Tyres Services is seeking a reliable 7.5 tonne driver to join our team. This multi-functional role involves driving all vehicle classes up to 7.5T, with potential for regular routes primarily serving business customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting warehouse operations with loading and unloading
- Collecting bulk deliveries from ports
- Handling customer returns to distribution centres
- Occasionally collecting payments from customers, including cash transactions
The role requires manual handling and heavy lifting. Micheldever will update your DCPC with annual training.
Location: Chepstow
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 0600-1430, with Saturday shifts as required
Must Have:
- A full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Digital tachograph card
- Driver Qualification card (company covers re-qualification during employment)
- Driver CPC (preferred)

Micheldever offers a strong Development Routes Programme including CPC training, licence upgrades to C2 or C1, and courses on health and safety and logistics topics.
About the Role:
- Deliver tyres and related products across the region, mainly via AM and PM runs
- You may also drive 3.5T vans occasionally
- Make 20-30 deliveries per day, depending on the area
- Follow operational procedures and safety systems to ensure efficient, accurate deliveries
- Maintain vehicle roadworthiness according to company practices
- Comply with legal standards and company policies
- Ensure all documentation and paperwork are completed accurately and timely
About You:
- Experience in a similar role, particularly with 7.5T deliveries
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work quality
- Strong work ethic and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Digital tachograph card and Driver Qualification card (company covers re-qualification)
- Driver CPC (preferred)
