ProtyreAutocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.
- Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Complete fast‑fit tyre fitting and use an alignment machine to read and make relevant adjustments.
- Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
- Carry out MOT repairs and adhere to company procedures for the vehicle inspection process.
- Use diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing and repairs are thorough and of the highest quality.
- Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues for certain makes and ages, and offer timelines for future repair needs.
- Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Full current UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
- Level 3 Automotive Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience with mechanical and fast‑fit repairs, including tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing of a wide range of vehicles.
- Ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment.
