Protyre Autocare is looking for a customer focused MOT Technician to join our team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. As an MOT Tester / Technician you will carry out MOTs and mechanical repairs as required.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements.
- General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.
- Fast Fit tyre fitting while using an alignment machine and understanding readings and relevant adjustments.
- Work in a safe manner and comply with health & safety regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation including wearing the correct company uniform.
- Conduct any reasonable requests or tasks as deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
- Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
- Valid MOT Licence.
- A valid MOT Licence (listed under requirements and essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs including tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
