Job Title: Receptionist
Reports To: Teller/MSR Supervisor/IRA Specialist

Summary: Responsible for relaying incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors in a professional manner and performing various clerical duties by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.

2. Greets and screens incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival.

3. Opens and distributes incoming mail daily, and prepares outgoing mail using postage meter.

4. Receives and signs for packages and delivers to the appropriate person promptly.

5. Operates standard office equipment including:

  • multi-line telephone system
  • photocopy machine
  • postage meter
  • calculator
  • computer/printer

6. Monitors facsimile machine, directs incoming documents and sends documents via facsimile as requested.

7. Types correspondence and memorandums in proper format, proofreads and mails as assigned.

8. Maintains an adequate office supply inventory and requisitions additional items as needed.

9. Contacts appropriate company for necessary preventive maintenance/service on office equipment and maintain related files.

10. Keeps track of homeowner’s insurance on home equity loans.

11. Processes bill payment checks daily.

12. Assists other departments as needed.

13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior general office experience helpful.\’
