We have 750 pupils from years 7 to 13. We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to work in our fast-paced School kitchen. Food Safety and Health and Safety Level 2 certificates required. Satisfactory references will be sought. 22.5 hours per week, (10am - 2:30pm), term time only (38 weeks).
Responsibilities
- Food prepping
- Setting up and clearing the lunch halls. This includes sweeping and mopping the floor, wiping tables, checking cutlery and plates for the following day
- Traying up main course at lunchtime and serving to pupils
- Pot washing and loading the dishwasher
- Cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day
- Responsible for giving out meals to those with allergies
- Working in 6th Form Cafe (on rotation) - stock vending machine, sell snacks and lunch
