Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Frimley for a Protection Adviser. The main purpose of this role is to advise clients (both personal and business) over the phone, online and face to face, recommending suitable protection solutions based on their needs and circumstances. The Protection Adviser will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial advice focused on protection products and services, maintaining a strong emphasis on client engagement and relationship management. This is a permanent employed position with a basic salary plus commission. OTE 50-65k in year one.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Maintain and build relationships with Mortgage Advisers, Commercial Advisers and introducers.
- Convert leads into written business, achieving sales and conversion targets.
- Complete thorough Fact Finds, including business structures and liabilities where necessary.
- Advise on personal and business products, such as: Life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, family income benefit, executive income protection, relevant life, key person and shareholder protection.
- Research products across a range of providers.
- Explain complex protection arrangements clearly.
- Complete medical underwriting requirements.
- Submit applications via provider and CRM systems.
- Prepare rational for recommendation reports.
- Pass compliant cases to admin.
- Maintain up-to-date market knowledge, maintaining minimum CPD requirements.
