Rate: £450–£525 per day (DOE) | Outside IR35 / Limited Company

A well-established commercial construction and fit-out contractor is delivering a £60m CAT A / CAT B office “cut-and-carve” project in Central London and is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the on-site commercial team.
The Role
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement to final account
- Measuring, pricing, and administering variations, including structural alterations and additional client requests
- Preparing valuations, cost reports, and forecasts
- Supporting CVRs and commercial reporting
- Assisting the site team in a fast-paced, live project environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on similar commercial fit-out or design-and-build projects
- Background with Tier One or Two main contractors
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial fit-outs, structural facades, and CAT A/B office schemes
- Experienced in managing subcontractors and commercial processes independently
- Comfortable handling large-scale projects (£60m+) with complex site discoveries
