The Opportunity An established and highly respected building services contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Electrical Project Manager to deliver major, high-profile projects across London. The business operates at the top end of the commercial market, working alongside Tier One main contractors on complex, technically demanding schemes. This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of delivering large electrical packages from pre-construction through to final handover. The Role Reporting to a Contracts Director, you will take full responsibility for the electrical delivery of major projects, leading project teams and ensuring successful outcomes across programme, quality, safety, and commercial performance. Key responsibilities include: • Full ownership of electrical packages from post-tender through procurement, delivery, commissioning, and final handover • Leading design development and coordination with consultants, client teams, and main contractors • Procurement of major plant, specialist subcontractors, and long-lead equipment • Developing and managing construction programmes using MS Project, Asta, or similar planning tools • Leadership of site-based project teams, engineers, and subcontractors • Overall commercial responsibility, including cost control, forecasting, reporting, and change management • Chairing senior internal and external project meetings • Driving commissioning strategy and ensuring a structured and compliant handover process • Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, quality, and project governance The Projects • Large-scale commercial new build and major fit out projects • High-value, technically complex electrical packages • Delivered alongside Tier One main contractors • Predominantly London-based schemes About You • Proven experience delivering major electrical packages within commercial new build or large-scale fit out environments • Strong technical understanding of electrical building services systems • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage senior stakeholders • Commercially astute, with experience managing project finances and reporting at senior level • Professional, confident communicator with a structured and solutions-focused approach Experience & Qualifications • 5–10+ years’ experience in an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager role • Experience managing projects with electrical values of £10m+ • HNC / HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred but not essential) • Experience working with Tier One main contractors is highly advantageous Why Join • Opportunity to lead landmark, technically challenging projects across London • Strong, secured pipeline of work • Supportive senior leadership team with clear routes for progression • Competitive salary, car allowance, bonus, travel and comprehensive benefits package
