Ready to lead the commercial strategy on one of London's flagship construction projects? We're seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to take the commercial lead on a landmark £250m+ commercial/mixed-use development in Central London. As a key member of the Project Leadership Team, you'll drive commercial performance, manage contractual risk, lead a high-performing team, and play a critical role in the successful delivery of a major project from inception through to completion.
The Opportunity
- Lead the commercial function on a flagship project valued at £250m+
- Take ownership of project finances, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Manage head contract administration and contractual risk
- Work alongside senior project leaders, clients and design teams
- Influence procurement strategy, project delivery and commercial outcomes
- Lead and develop an established commercial team
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading the commercial function on major construction projects (£150m+)
- Strong background within commercial office and mixed-use developments
- Extensive knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management processes
- Experience managing complex claims and contractual disputes
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of contract and commercial law
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
- MRICS qualification highly desirable
