The Role

This is a newly created BIM Manager position, introduced as part of the company’s continued growth and commitment to enhancing its digital delivery capabilities. Reporting directly into the Head of Design, the BIM Manager will have a key role in shaping, implementing, and developing the BIM function across the business. As the department grows, this role offers significant opportunities for further progression, increased responsibility, and long-term career development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing best practice, supporting project teams, and contributing to the future direction of BIM and digital construction within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across multiple fit out and refurbishment projects
  • Develop, maintain, and refine BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans
  • Work closely with the Head of Design to align BIM strategy with overall design and delivery objectives
  • Coordinate BIM activities with internal teams, consultants, and the supply chain
  • Manage model coordination, clash detection, and information flow throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, contractual BIM requirements, and company procedures
  • Support project teams with technical BIM guidance and problem resolution
  • Oversee digital project handovers, including as-built models and asset information
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the BIM function, including mentoring and supporting team members as the department expands

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and common data environments (CDEs)
  • Experience delivering BIM on commercial projects, ideally within fit out and refurbishment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
