An established Tier 1 main contractor is looking to appoint a Technical Services Manager to join the delivery team on a major industrial & logistics development currently entering the construction phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the MEP delivery on a high-profile scheme, working closely with the Project Director, site teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure the mechanical and electrical packages are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

  • Manage the on-site delivery of all MEP packages from early construction through to commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate MEP subcontractors to ensure programme, quality and safety targets are achieved.
  • Work collaboratively with the project and commercial teams to resolve technical and delivery issues.
  • Monitor installation progress, inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with design intent and client requirements.
  • Drive programme, quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager, Building Services Manager or MEP Manager with a Tier 1 or reputable main contractor.
  • Strong background delivering MEP packages on large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent site delivery and coordination experience.
  • Confident managing MEP subcontractors through installation, commissioning and handover.
  • Previous experience on industrial, logistics or distribution centre projects would be advantageous, although candidates from commercial, mixed-use, healthcare or other major build sectors are encouraged to apply.
  • Mechanical or electrical background considered.
