My client is a leading National MEP contractor with an emphasis on working on major Commercial, Healthcare and Education projects with an annual turnover in excess of 230m. Project range from 10 to 50 million MEP and due to successful growth plans being achieved they are looking to hire a Health and Safety Manager to join their fast-paced project based in Kent. They are open to seeking Health and Safety Managers, Advisors, and Coordinators for this role within the Construction and MEP sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. HSQE Project and documentation support including Preliminary and Construction Stage Safety and Health Plans.
  2. Maintain compliance with current Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and maintain awareness of legislative changes and industry standards.
  3. Obtaining and reviewing safety documentation from Clients, Suppliers, and Subcontractors.
  4. Carrying out Site Inspections and producing reports.
  5. Assist the site team in the preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and associated documentation and records.
  6. Prepare and carry out site toolbox talks.
  7. Daily/weekly reporting to the Business, project management staff, and client.
  8. Conduct incident/accident investigations and prepare reports for internal/external purposes.
  9. Provide HSQE advice and direction to staff and contractors, liaising with Site Personnel.
  10. Compilation of Safety Files and O&M Manuals.
