We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in large-scale commercial fit-out projects in Central London. You will be responsible for managing both single-stage and two-stage tenders, producing accurate and competitive pricing submissions that reflect the project scope, risks, and client requirements.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to confidently collaborate across pre-construction, design, commercial, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tender Management: Prepare full pricing for single-stage tenders, including measurement, BOQs, subcontractor engagement, and full tender submissions.
  • Support and lead two-stage tenders, contributing to early-stage cost planning, design development, procurement strategies, and final contract sum negotiations.
  • Analyse tender documentation (ERs, drawings, specifications) to produce accurate cost estimates and identify any gaps, risks, or clarifications.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Manage subcontractor enquiries, analyse quotations, and negotiate competitive pricing.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with supply chain partners, ensuring high-quality coverage across all package trades.
  • Internal & External Collaboration: Work closely with Pre-Construction, Design Managers, Commercial, and Project Teams to ensure clear alignment on scope, strategy, and cost.
  • Attend tender launches, mid-tender meetings, site visits, and tender interviews as required.
  • Provide thorough handovers to the project delivery teams post-award.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as an Estimator within major commercial fit-out projects in Central London.
  • Strong understanding of both single-stage and two-stage tender processes.
  • Experience working on Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects, ideally with values of £50m+.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and employer’s requirements with precision.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in estimating software systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
