In addition to their London business unit, they have an extensive international division and a Cambridge office.
Role
Senior Electrical Project Engineer – London
Salary £70,000 – £90,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Full Travel Expenses + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
The successful candidate will be based on a major data centre project in Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand and scrutinise specifications
- Assist with management of design stage
- Procurement of sub‑contractors, kit and plant
- Investigate value engineering
- Assist with preparation of contract documents – method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc.
- Coordinate and manage direct labour
- Instruct and coordinate site managers
- Progress reporting
- Oversee commissioning and testing
- Work with quantity surveyor on commercial accounts
- Prepare OMs for final project handover
Ideal Candidate
- Ideally hold an HNC or HND and possess good technical knowledge of electrical services
- Experience working in the rail sector
- Ideally have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, Mace, Wates, etc.
- Have a forward‑thinking attitude
