LVAP Tester Commercial & Data Centre Projects | Central & West London Up to £75,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits We're supporting a well-established electrical and building services contractor in their search for experienced LVAP Testers to join a growing project team delivering major commercial and mission-critical developments across London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong testing background who are comfortable working on live environments, managing LV testing activities and supporting the safe energisation of complex electrical systems. Both permanent and day-rate opportunities are available. The Role Working across high-profile commercial fit-out and data centre projects, you'll play a key role in ensuring installations are tested, verified and energised safely in line with project requirements and industry standards. Key responsibilities include: * Carrying out LV inspection, testing and verification activities. * Supporting the safe energisation and isolation of electrical systems. * Producing and completing all relevant testing documentation and certification. * Identifying defects, faults and non-conformances while supporting resolution. * Working closely with project delivery, commissioning and engineering teams. * Ensuring compliance with site procedures, permits and safe systems of work. * Contributing to successful project handover and commissioning activities. * Maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety and quality throughout delivery. Requirements We're keen to speak with candidates who possess: * 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent). * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. * Previous experience carrying out LV testing on commercial or critical infrastructure projects. * Strong understanding of LV distribution systems, switching procedures and energisation processes. * Experience working within commercial construction, fit-out or data centre environments. * ECS or JIB card. * Ability to work independently while managing testing programmes on site. * Excellent attention to detail and documentation standards. Desirable Experience * Previous LVAP or Authorised Person responsibilities. * Mission-critical, data centre or critical infrastructure projects. * Large-scale commercial developments and CAT A/CAT B fit-outs. * Exposure to commissioning and project handover activities. * Full UK driving licence.
