A well established main contractor with a £300m turnover London division is looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to join its growing team. The business delivers projects across new build residential, student accommodation, schools and selected commercial schemes, with project values up to £150m. This is a permanent opportunity within a financially secure contractor with a strong forward order book in London.
The Role
The Building Services Manager will take projects from the end of PCSA into full construction delivery, driving MEP performance on site through to commissioning and handover. Reporting into a Senior Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining programme, quality and technical control across live schemes.
Key responsibilities
- Taking ownership of MEP packages from late preconstruction into delivery
- Managing M&E subcontractors on site
- Driving installation sequencing in line with programme
- Coordinating MEP with construction teams and project management
- Reviewing technical submittals and drawings
- Monitoring quality assurance and compliance
- Supporting commercial teams with variations and change control
- Managing commissioning preparation and final handover
This is a delivery led role with strong site presence rather than a purely design based position.
