I am working with a leading M&E contractor who are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team on the upgrade project of a Bank Tower in Canary Wharf. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high profile commercial refurbishment project within one of London’s most iconic financial district buildings. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and smooth information flow across the project lifecycle.
- Downloading and logging all documentation, updating all schedules for progress report.
- Issuing documentation to all sub-contractors with trackers and schedules.
- Collection of H&S paperwork.
- Downloading schedule of all documents and issuing report each week.
- Updating progress report daily when documents have been issued and downloading any comments received from client.
- Numbering and Identification of Documents.
- QA Checks of all Documents.
- Log in and out drawings received from CAD.
The type of person they are looking for is a dedicated and experienced Document Controller with a proven track record of longevity in previous roles. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing project documentation and be confident using a variety of EDMS platforms. This role requires someone who is able to commute to Canary Wharf five days per week and integrate seamlessly into a busy project team environment.
