Salary: £75,000 + Travel Allowance + Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare

Our clients are experts in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) engineering. We have extensive experience of delivering a huge range of projects in a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, educational, Defence and Data Centres.

Our team are looking for a Construction Manager to join the team in Cambridge. Working as a Construction Manager (LVAP) - Electrical, you will effectively and professionally undertake the role of the dedicated LVAP on the project during the services construction phase.

What you'll do:

  • Co-ordinate all Electrical site activities with all other site operations in relation to the inspections and electrical activities to enable the correct procedures to be strictly adhered to in relation to the livening up the electrical supplies.
  • Proactive management of Health and Safety on site.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team and other contractors, subcontractors works packages to achieve the overall project goals.
  • Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation of Risk Assessment Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Consents etc for the works and that these are implemented.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Proven track record in administering the AP role.
  • Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS.
  • Experience and Knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of complete Electrical installations.
  • Completed suitable LVAP training and ensure this is kept up to date.
  • Undertaken the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and a minimum of 5 years practical experience (If Electrical).
