An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Services Manager to join a leading construction and fit-out business delivering a large-scale commercial Cat B fit-out project in Central London. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within technical services and gain exposure to the delivery of high-profile commercial interiors projects within a fast-paced main contracting environment.

Working alongside experienced project and technical teams, you will support the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services from pre-construction through to handover, with clear progression opportunities into a Technical Services Manager position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of MEP services across the project lifecycle
  • Support the management of subcontractors, consultants, and specialist suppliers
  • Review technical drawings, RFIs, and design information
  • Monitor progress against programme requirements and assist with resolving technical issues
  • Attend coordination and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support commissioning, QA processes, and project handover activities
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications, programme, and quality standards
  • Assist with reporting, documentation management, and technical tracking processes
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering
  • Experience within commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or construction environments preferred
  • HNC/HND or degree qualification in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
  • Graduates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply
  • Good understanding of MEP systems and technical coordination
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within project delivery teams

  • £45,000 – £65,000 basic salary
