Responsibilities:
- Act in a client facing role taking on large scale Mechanical and Electrical projects
- Management of more junior Quantity Surveyors when required on larger projects
- Production & Preparation of tender reports/documents
- Cost plans & advise on cost options
- Analysis, evaluation/assessment of tender reports
- Negotiation and contract formulation and interim valuations
- Review the Preparation of cost plans
- Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages
- Attending meetings with clients
- Contract administration
- Closing and finalising final accounts
Desired skills and experience:
- Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sector is essential
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is desired
- Strong interpersonal skills are desired for the successful candidate
