Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – Location: Near Bournemouth, South England

Salary: £75,000 – £95,000 + Package (Travel Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, Discretionary Bonus & more!!)

Responsibilities

  • Act in a client facing role taking on large scale Mechanical and Electrical projects
  • Management of more junior Quantity Surveyors when required on larger projects
  • Production & Preparation of tender reports/documents
  • Cost plans & advise on cost options
  • Analysis, evaluation/assessment of tender reports
  • Negotiation and contract formulation and interim valuations
  • Review the Preparation of cost plans
  • Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages
  • Attending meetings with clients
  • Contract administration
  • Closing and finalising final accounts

Desired skills and experience

  • Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sector is essential
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is desired
  • Strong interpersonal skills are desired for the successful candidate
