We are working on behalf of a reputable contractor specialising in fit out, refurbishment, new builds and MEP installations. Being in business for almost 50 years, the company turns over circa £150m annually, with typical projects ranging from £100k - £120m.
The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be working with the commercial team on the project from pre-construction to handover. If you have fit-out experience and are keen to progress your career within an exciting company, apply here.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the procurement and sub-contractors
- Where applicable, assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in tackling key, commercial, progress or contractual issues with either the Client or Suppliers
- Play a role in reconciling cost/value reports and profit forecasts
- Work with the Commercial Team in securing maximum sustainable value from contracts, and in settling subcontracts at a fair level reflective of the subcontractor's price and performance
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience within the fitout and refurbishment sector
- Eligibility to work in the UK
