We are working with a Restoration specialist primarily working for high net worth clients. They provide construction repair solutions for both domestic and commercial environments across London and the home counties.
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating construction project costs, crafting comprehensive proposals, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless project management. Additionally, you will create and manage project plans, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
- Track changes to work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
- Measure and value the work done on site
- Pay subcontractors
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
- Write reports
- 2-7 years’ experience in estimating and project coordinating within the construction industry
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
