Are you a contracts manager looking for a new challenge? If so this opportunity could be of interest to you.

The company you have the chance to work for are fit out and refurbishment specialists with a focus on the education, commercial and healthcare sector with projects ranging from £200k to £2.5m.

We are looking for a contracts manager to oversee 3 on going projects, reporting directly into the ownership. Projects based in London and surrounding home counties.

Additionally, this opportunity provides you with the luxury of a hybrid working scheme.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Monitoring contract costs to ensure the align with the project budget.
  • Managing payment applications, valuations, and variations.
  • Identifying and managing contractual and financial risks.
  • Liaising between the legal team, procurement, finance, project teams, and external parties.
  • Ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties.
  • Managing contract renewals, extensions, or terminations as needed.
  • Addressing and resolving conflicts or claims that arise during the project.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
  • Legal awareness and attention to detail.
  • Negotiation and communication skills.
  • Project and time management abilities.
