Project: £50M+ Large-Scale Cat B Fit Out
Scope of works included: full office fit out with new reception, executive suites, open-plan workspace, meeting and conference facilities, installation of MEP services, high-spec finishes, breakout areas, café/restaurant space, and all associated joinery and furniture.
As a Senior Construction Manager, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of high-value fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring programmes are met and work is delivered to the highest standard.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing site teams, including subcontractors and junior managers.
- Working closely with the Project Director/Project Manager to develop and maintain detailed project programmes and resourcing plans.
- Driving health & safety standards across the site, ensuring full compliance with statutory and company policies.
- Coordinating with design, commercial, and client teams to resolve issues, maintain momentum, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Monitoring project budgets, quality standards, and progress against milestones, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders.
- Acting as the primary point of contact on site for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
- Overseeing project handover, snagging, and close-out documentation to ensure smooth client sign-off.
