We're partnering with a renowned M&E contractor based in the heart of London who are looking to bring on board a Business Development Manager to play a key role in their next phase of expansion.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead client relationships – Build and maintain strong connections with clients.
- Generate and manage pipeline in key sectors (focus on London, Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester and surrounding areas.)
- Ensure pipeline supports broader business objectives.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders – Collaborate with Project Managers, QSs, M&E Consultants, Architects, and clients.
- Understand client operations and preferences – Use this insight to enhance competitiveness.
- Monitor national opportunities across key awarding authorities
- Maintain and update pipeline and project data.
- Build strategic partnerships and attend networking events
- Foster new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams – Work with communications, Bid teams and others to align efforts.
- Attend Group sales meetings – Participate in key sales discussions.
- Contribute to the development of BD strategies
- Adapt in a fast-paced environment – Stay flexible and responsive to changes.
Salary: £85,000 – £90,000 + Travel Expenses + Bonus + Life Cover 2X Salary + 34 Days Holiday Including Bank Holidays + Pension
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrable track record of successfully engaging with Tier 1 companies.
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager (ideally in the construction industry but this sector is not essential).
- Experience in utilising a CRM system.
- Good IT skills, including MS PowerPoint.
- Articulate and confident communicator in a range of environments.
- Self-motivated approach.
