Mechanical construction manager

Position: Mechanical Construction Manager – Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Package Client Overview With nearly two decades of experience, our client has established itself as one of London’s most reputable M&E contractors in the commercial office fit-out sector. Known for delivering fast-paced, high-quality projects for top-tier contractors such as Collins, Parkeray, and BW, the company has entered an exciting new phase of growth. Under the leadership of a newly appointed Managing Director, the business has seen impressive momentum over the past 18 months and continues to secure high-profile contracts with clients including Collins, Ambit, and 8Build. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate subcontractor labour on-site Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations Maintain and deliver clear progress reports Review, amend, and manage RAMS documentation Interpret and work from technical drawings and design documents Lead snagging, testing, and commissioning processes Proactively drive the programme to meet deadlines and milestones The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing multi-disciplined mechanical services installations Possess a strong technical background, ideally having progressed from the tools Demonstrate solid experience in the commercial office fit-out sector What’s on Offer: A strong and growing pipeline of projects Clear and fast-tracked career progression, with the opportunity to step into a Project Manager role within a year A supportive and ambitious team culture, with real potential to advance into senior leadership Excellent staff retention and a company committed to sustained growth
