Client: Our client are a specialist groundworks and builders work contractor. The business was set up 18 months ago by an Ex-Director from a multi-million pound contractor. Turnover is currently at £5 million. They are a young, dynamic business who are continuously growing. After a successful period of winning work, they are looking to expand their operations team and are seeking a Groundworks Site Manager.
Role: Groundworks Site Manager – Luton - £280 - £300 per day
The successful candidate will be managing a £2.6m contract which involves the demolition of an existing skate park, adding new underground drainage, levelling and filling the site ready for the specialist contractor to install a new skate park.
Responsibilities:
- Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
- Short term programming.
- Health & Safety (RAMS).
- Sub-contractor coordination.
- Quality Assurance
- Liaising with client team and sub-contractors
- Progress meetings with sub-contractors
The ideal candidate:
- Must have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
- Experience managing £2m projects previously
