A leading Contract Manufacturer of bespoke Cable Assembly and electronics box build solutions is looking to add to their UK Team. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary of up £45k base plus benefits and is field based covering the North of the UK.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be doing 75% business development with a primary focus on onboarding new accounts and driving the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out prospecting in both current and new markets to acquire new leads.
  • Managing new opportunities from lead to contract award.
  • Provide a plan for customer meetings and strategic partnerships with potential customers.
  • Undertake market research and analysis and provide reporting on the results.
  • Contribute to bid management.
  • Maintain and track opportunities with the CRM.
  • Contribute to continual improvement.
  • Provide sales order forecasting in the long and short term.
  • To instigate meetings, both on-site and off-site with potential and current customers to ensure that the company’s “services and capabilities” are fully conveyed.
  • Utilise social media for selling opportunities.
  • Attend company exhibitions and trade events and assist with event planning when required.
Requirements:
  • Prior Experience in the Electronic Component Industry
  • Ability to Travel Where Necessary
