An established and upcoming UK-based Manufacturer is looking to add to their UK Team. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary of up to £35k base and is office-based five days a week in Hertfordshire. For the right candidate, they will be open to discussing flexibility/hybrid working.
As the Internal Account Manager, you will be a critical member of the sales team and will be responsible for driving revenue growth with new and existing customers with a primary focus on developing accounts, increasing sales and contributing to long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Follow up quotations and close business on behalf of the company.
- Serve as the point of contact for your account base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within UK territories.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client's position in the market, their product/service, points of difference, and competitive landscape.
- Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as they relate to current, new, and upcoming projects.
- As necessary, visit clients, and attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalise on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
- Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis.
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Ideally from the CEM/EMS industry.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
