This strategic HR Business Partner role will partner with senior leaders to deliver workforce planning, organisational change and people strategies across a complex, unionised environment. The successful candidate will lead on consultations, manage complex employee relations matters and provide expert HR advice to support a medical workforce while driving organisational objectives.
Are you an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner with a background supporting a medical workforce and/or working within the NHS? We are recruiting for an exciting part-time opportunity to join a progressive organisation and partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic people solutions.
Salary: £58,266 FTE (£29,133 pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, 0.5 FTE
Hours: Approximately 18.5 hours per week (based on a 37-hour full-time week)
Flexibility: Hours can be worked flexibly, with consideration given to candidates seeking to work 3 days per week
Location: Wolverhampton (2-3 days per week onsite)
This is a highly visible HR Business Partner position, working closely with senior stakeholders to support organisational objectives through effective people strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to provide strategic HR advice and guidance
- Leading on workforce planning and organisational change initiatives
- Managing complex employee relations cases within a unionised environment
- Supporting and leading formal consultation processes
- Influencing stakeholders to drive positive people outcomes
- Using workforce data and insights to support decision-making
- Contributing to the delivery of HR and organisational objectives
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience operating as an HR Business Partner
- Experience working with a medical workforce and/or within the NHS (essential)
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and consultation processes
- Proven experience of workforce planning and organisational change
- Experience working within a unionised environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational and organisational priorities
