Description
- Manage the preparation and review of corporate tax computations, returns, and statutory filings to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Assist with tax accounting processes, including the calculation of tax provisions and support for financial reporting requirements.
- Stay informed of developments in tax legislation and evaluate the potential impact on the business.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for internal teams, providing guidance on a range of tax-related matters.
- Work closely with external advisers and tax authorities to support audits, enquiries, and compliance activities.
- Contribute to transfer pricing compliance, including the maintenance of supporting documentation and inter company arrangements.
- Proactively identify tax planning opportunities while helping to minimise tax risks across the organisation.
- Ensure tax records, filings, and supporting documentation are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
Profile
A successful Senior Tax Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and reporting standards.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns and provisions.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
