- Description
- Act as the primary finance partner to designated business units, functions or senior leadership teams.
- Build strong, credible relationships with senior stakeholders and become a trusted adviser on financial and commercial matters.
- Provide clear financial insight and challenge to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Translate complex financial information into concise, commercially relevant recommendations.
- Support business leaders in evaluating strategic initiatives, investment decisions, transformation programmes and growth opportunities.
- Challenge assumptions, identify risks and ensure financial implications are fully understood before decisions are made.
- Lead or contribute to the annual budgeting and strategic planning process for relevant areas of the business.
- Own the financial forecasting process, ensuring forecasts are robust, evidence-based and aligned with operational plans.
- Analyse actual performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying key drivers and corrective actions.
- Develop meaningful KPIs and performance measures that support management decision-making.
- Provide regular financial performance reporting and commentary to senior management.
